Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermillion 1995
Trinity Lutheran Church
Date of Completion
48,000 square feet
A new 400-seat sanctuary, narthex, classrooms and pastoral offices are designed to complete this church campus begun in 1960.
Marking the new entrance, a 60-foot tower incorporates symbolic references to the Trinity and is crowned by a gold cross.
In the sanctuary, the use of light is an important element throughout. Gothic stained glass windows salvaged from the former church demolished 30 years earlier are displayed in the sanctuary as elements of art, illuminated by the east facing windows.
