This interpretive center incorporates exhibit and classroom areas along with offices for regional Game, Fish and Parks Department staff.

It is designed as a gateway, leading the visitor from the parking area through introductory exhibits to the outdoor areas beyond.

The 100-acre campus incorporates an extensive system of trails, ponds and outdoor skills learning stations.

The Outdoor Campus is the winner of an AIASD Honor Award.
