Village Assisted Living consists of 32 living units, 24 one-bedroom
units, and eight 2-bedroom units. It was designed to meet all the
requirements of assisted living but was also designed for future
use as senior apartment living as the campus expands. It has two
wings connected by units at one end and a Main Street at the other
end, creating a central courtyard. Natural light is brought into the
Main Street through windows and skylights. On both sides of t he
Main Street are storefronts and openings that consist of the dining
room, central fireplace, general store, lounges/exterior porches,
four seasons room, salon, wellness and offices. Unit entrances are
recessed and include shelves and sconces to add warmth adn the
opportunity for personal expression. The exterior features include
covered porches and a covered drop off. It also inclucdes enclosed
links to the existing campus buildings. The interior features
include a variety of wood work, fireplaces and lounges.
