The addition to the Sioux Falls Regional Airport Terminal accommodates a new baggage claim, expanded rental offices, and a Federal Inspections Services processing area including facilities for USCS, INS, and USDA.

The expansion was designed with three oversized coiling doors, which create a secure environment for international passenger processing but still allow for a seamless extension of the existing space. The design of the addition compliments the architectural character, rhythm and scale of the existing terminal while complying with the long-term facility master plan.
