The Minnehaha County Commission on Tuesday approved $50,000 for Koch Hazard Architects to design a new Siouxland Heritage Museums Collections and Research Center to be built on land donated by Bob and Kari Hall.

Half the money for design work will come from the Siouxland Heritage Museums endowment and half from the county's building fund, according to Bill Hoskins, museums director.
